yes and no. They capitalise on the fantasies that humans generally
indulge themselves in, except they perpetuate it as a drug on drip
feed so once hooked it becomes part of the daily ritual.

do you think that everyone knows what they want or that they are happy
to cling to convention, repitition, ritual etc in order to believe
that they are satisfied? On one hand you call yanks ignorant in one
post but then suggest that really they know what they want.

its a job, people work in mundane jobs everyday. Doesnt matter on the
title. Its the fact that we are simply fodder for the state that
encourages to indulge in fantasy, a point quite clearly demonstrated
in the film The Matrix to cite a paradoxical example.

my son used it the other week strangely. i pulled him up about it, he
had no idea of what it meant. I then made him sit down and listen to
Ian Drury some of which he liked. He'll use the word for shock value i
suppose, not that they know what they are shocking

Peter, i see people employ mixed race workers and then in the pub
amongst their own kind refer to them as coons. You goto the football
and it champions itself on kicking out racism. Has it?
Education on one hand is having an effective approach, the threat of
legal action is also changing things. But is this changing the way
people look at - in this case - the disabled or is it merely scaring
them to play along?

I dont know the answer to that.

are you happy Peter?
