Loudest, most-tinnitus causing gigs I've witnessed:

- Guns'n'Roses at the Ritz, 1992 (filming of the video for "You Could
Be Mine"). Stadium-ready sound equipment in a medium-sized club. Ouch.
- Motorhead at the Ritz, 1991. Tour for 1916. Volume, Volume, Volume.
- Killing Joke at the Cat Club, 1989 - Relentless volume.
- Buzzcocks at Irving Plaza, 1991 - Standing next to the speakers
(ain't I bright?)
- Butthole Surfers at the Marquee (NYC) - 1990. Onslaught.
