Tom, that ringing might be tinnitus and it might never go away - consider 
earplugs next time you go to a show. When your ears ring, they are trying to 
tell you something. Our ears have not evolved at the same rate as 
amplificaiton technology.

I learned the hard way at a Jesus and Marychain concert in 85, and I've 
still got a little souvinier - in stereo.
