[kj] OT east and maybe west coast trip

funnily enough i may be there myself. landing in san Francisco on 21st July,
then driving down 101 to san Diego. after that planning a quick detour to
Vegas, then maybe Memphis or New Orleans, then flying back from New York on
10th August

I know there's people out there who live in these places. Any tips on
accommodation or where to go? am going out there with a mate so it certainly
will not be a family-orientated holiday
