the latest news on the joke front is that something is being planned at some 
point in the future. the exact details are yet to be ironed out, but 
basically things are happening, plans are being made, activities are afoot 
and there's something in the air. various parties are bringing ideas to the 
table, and it's all going into the mix, being discussed, with a view to 
something happening at some point in the future. the idea of a tour, or at 
least a gig, is very much on the brink of being on the agenda, possibly. 
some sort of future release is also a distinct possibility; either and 
album, a single, a compilation or a live album or dvd, or a combination of 
these. or at least a spoken-word side project. no deadline has been put on 
any of this, but it is likely to be next year at the earliest. this is 
bonafide information from serveral sources close to the band, including the 
band themselves, and some very distant sources. i do have slightly more 
vague details but i've been sworn to secrecy on pain of death. anyone caught 
distributing kj material will be considered an enemy of the band who is 
putting all these exciting projects in serious jeopardy of not happening at 
all. if, in the unlikely even that not one of these many plans comes to 
fruition, anyone caught trading mp3s will be held responsible and politely 
flogged. honour the embers!
