R. Kelly is quite obviously a complete idiot, which is different than
being evil.

I wouldn't want to defend this jackass, but I'll say this -- I don't know
if he has a worse history, but the girl in the case we're talking about
was 17 at the time.  Still sounds like a bad idea, but that's really not
like fiddling with an 8-year-old.  Sounds more like, say, Traci Lords.

In Spain, apparently, the age of consent is 13, but I'm guessing the
father is allowed to kill the guy.  Sounds fair to me.  I'd say that
policy would tend to keep people honest anyway.
