Possibly they did Alex, but i dont think they were quite prepared for the
expected results. The total enormity of the whole event took EVERYONE by
surprise, an image that those of us that saw it will never forget. I kinda
think that if...and i mean IF the USA government were aware of the intended
attack they thought a real publicity coup would be won, in their favour, if
that were the case then they were badly mistaken. I honestly dont believe
that the American government were aware of a  total information target,
nobody could let that happen with all those lives to be lost. Information
about a 'possible' attack yes, but come on, this is the U.S of A nobody
could attack them in their own interior, could they, unfortunately those
that might have said no were proved wrong.
  Guess the upshot of what im saying is...i really CAN'T believe that any
American Government would let such a landmark and so many of its citizens
die like that, the pictures of people leaping to their deaths still haunt
me.

I could speak for hours on this and perhaps bore you all to tears ( if i
havent already done so ) and on many other subjects around this issue ( 6
British Military Police etc ) but i wont. Times they are a changing and we
will all see what comes to rise!
