[kj] interview

[Greyson Stoehr]

The architects of the Twin Towers themselves did not
believe the towers would collapse.  They were designed
to withstand the impact of being hit with airplanes
and jets, but in retrospect, they had not taken into
consideration the affect of almost entirely full tanks
of burning jet fuel on the steel frame that was to
prevent collapse.  The lead architect did a very
tearful interview on PBS and explained how the design
had failed in that respect.
