that's almost exactly the review they gave to Faith No
More's final (and quite great) album-Album Of The
Year. "Oh, they're old, they're tired, we sucked their
ass when they were cool, but this is just a big prog
rock mess......but the keyboards are cool." At the
height of "electronica", no less. Even when i was a 16
year old, grunge loving idiot, i thought rolling stone
sucked.
