Welcome to the IGDA's Human Resource Professionals mailing list for HR practitioners in the game development industry. This list was set up as an initiative of the IGDA's HR Special Interest Group to create a forum allowing us to exchange ideas, raise questions, and generate discussions around issues that we all face: from recruitment to retention and training to scheduling. It also allows us the opportunity to create and expand our Human Resource network. Please note this list cannot be used as a venue for presenting applicants or posting job opportunities. Violations will result in permanent removal from the list. As a matter of process, please keep in mind the need to maintain confidentiality in list discussions. We can talk about general situations and issues, but we should avoid using peoples' names or providing specific details that will allow us to identify people. Remember: always error on the side of caution. While this list may be somewhat confidential in membership, it still is a public forum. This list is closed to non-HR professionals and jobseekers. Using game_hr
To post a message to all the list members, send email to game_hr@igda.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to game_hr
Subscribe to game_hr by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
