1 . As long as users could also uninstall, then yes please add that to your
PR?
2. Yes. Definitely.  It's been on the todo list for quite some time. Any
help would be appreciated!
   dev list is probably a good place to discuss.  Also our discord server
is pretty active and we have a #devel channel there.
