I just checked, the place I was refering to is in chapter 1.1 of v3.0.1's UM.
In 3.0.4 it's been corrected as you say ... so, yes, I should have read 3.0.4 before posting.
Maybe it is a good idea if I start diff'ing the .txt versions of the doc to get the deltas before posting ...

Been gradually stamping out places where it says this, Py3 supported for quite a while now. Was there someplace particular that still claims Py3 is not supported?
