That question is certainly applicable.  Especially because it reminds me
there are better ways to share data across languages.  It looks like I
was too tied up trying to be clever with build rules.

As it happens, the MATLAB side of my plan doesn't work as well as I
though it would.  So, I'm going to stop generating the module and figure
out a different plan on the MATLAB side.
