Good to know.  FYI, the main things I know that cygwin python does
differently are:
 - weird filesystem rooted at /cygwin
 - paths with / instead of \, though in most cases that's fine
 - files have open modes different from native Win32
 - could be some case-sensitivity differences, though I don't think so.
