A very good point. However, filterJavac doesn't affect the
*important* compiler output (bytecode). It just affects the
diagnostics visible to the user. So I don't think a tweak to
filterJavac justifies rebuilding the world.

Ah! Geez, why didn't I know about that feature? Well, I guess I do
now. Works perfectly -- given that I don't care about
rebuild-after-changing-filterJavac.
