[IGDA_indies] TOW: Distribution Platforms

I'm launching a Topic of the Week to see if we can keep things hopping on
the mailing list and the new FB page (https://www.facebook.com/IgdaIndies).
I've got the first few weeks covered, but will soon be starting another
thread asking for suggestions.

This week's question is:

What distribution channels (Steam, Amazon App Store, Kongregate, etc) do you
use for your games and why? If you don't use a distribution platform,
relying instead on download sales through your own website, tell us why!
