Double thanks, here. I hope Jaz does take care of himself. I've only spoken
with him only twice, once a rushed interview after the release of MMXII
where he had a handler hovering over him, and next under not-ideal
circumstances. Everyone wanting his attention after a show in Dallas. He
was generous and nice with me, as much as he could be, in a great mood, but
he's definitely someone I'd love to just have an in depth sit-down with
before he (or I) pass, too.

After the Dallas show that mysterious "shamanic" side of him started to
come out, but other people stole him away. I've had dreams about the guy.
One where I was walking with him in a university that was structured like a
mall. I was explaining my life. In the dream, he goes, "Oliver, there's a
pottery school in Scotland I want to refer you to. Go there and study
pottery." "I'm not into pottery, AT ALL," I protested. He took my arm -
"Oliver, the pottery isn't the point of what I am suggesting you do. I'm
talking about the creative focus it will give you." It was a vivid dream. I
imagine in real life he'd give a hearty laugh at it, but the man has made
an impression of, quite strongly, in my life, from afar.
