You're right that it's unlikely I'm going to come round to the idea that vaccine passports => social credit system => brutal oppression.  That said, what I was hoping for was for you to explain why *you* believe this, rather than pointing me to a link (which I could find myself, and with which I can't have a discussion). How can these concerns be filed under "conspiracy theory" when we see what is already in place in Tier 1 Chinese cities? 

But the point I wanted to make is that this time it is different: Jaz (along with many other vaccine sceptics in all walks of life) has a binary choice like never before between taking a vaccine and sacrificing his career.
