Jaz's monthly update

It is sunset. A beautiful blue sky (not a single persistent contrail!)
While the October nights are cooler, the afternoon heat is such that only a
‘siesta’ is possible which is fine by me. I delight in the seasonal
laziness of it all! Get high and pass out until the cool evening air!

A jug of iced coffee is required and a fine cigar needs to be selected – a
cigar so delicious that Raven would undoubtedly steal it! Of course he
would snatch the Cohiba Siglo 6.

This time, thirteen years ago, was Paul’s funeral in France and his wake
just over the border in Geneva. And of course, as we approach the 31st the
veil between the living and the dead becomes thin. This is the time in all
cultures when the souls of the dead return to advise the living.

I am currently preparing for the Day of the Dead celebrations three hours
drive from here – then the beach – ha ha ha! I am also dressing the altar
here at my apartment with photos, wine, joints, chocolate and photos – Dad
and Raven are there.

In the west we have essentially a post-enlightenment view of death (ie.
termination of life followed by oblivion) resulting from a mechanistic
notion of the universe. However it was my brother, Dr Piers Coleman who
informed me that current modern scientific thought maintains that
consciousness survives death.

As I am an old spirit, I feel compelled to elaborate. When we pass through
death we find ourselves disincarnate yet we can hear everything the living
say. Which is why I insist that we must always refer to the dead in the
present tense – talk to them even – on a regular basis.

Killing Joke’s longevity is down to our understanding of the ancestry
spirit. It governs our every move, especially concerts where we ritually
form a physical circle – shoulder to shoulder and literally invoke the
ancestral spirit.

We reverse the order practiced by the western mystery tradition which
commences proceedings with a banishing ritual (which from our perspective
creates an aberration – a rip in the fabric of the *spiritus loci*,
spacetime as it were).

Understanding the building blocks of the ancestral spirit works like this.
All our dads in K.J. (while on the other side of the veil) are still very
much alive and all take a keen interest in their son’s careers, as do late
Gatherers, the mighty Raven and others… many others.

They are all alive and when we think of them with love in our hearts they
return to us. (Yes, the dead live by love in a mantra I repeat over and
over again!).  They live through us, guide us.

*Then all the lines between are gone.”*

And, as Youth notes:

*“When we come together, the weight of our ancestors comes through and
takes us to that timeless space.”*

Conclusively, I couldn’t agree more with the ideas of Professor of
Anthropology, Dr Christopher Knight who maintains *“that our ancestral
spirits should rule us rather than our obsession with money!”*

Because I see, hear, greet and converse with the spirits, they look
favorably on me. When loved ones are present I am overcome with emotions. I
have always had these traits.

Which is why the next 24 hours will be collecting various delights for the
ancestors to adorn the altar.

A jar of weed, a bottle of Rose, Kinder Happy Hippos (or Kinder anything
for Raven), half of my Cohiba, flowers.

As most of you know I have no phone, no laptop, iPad or computer of any
kind. No television either. So most of the time I go inwards. As I have
memorised any knowledge worth saving as well as possessing the genetic
history of mankind (like you) so all that is required to unlock such memory
is a pleasurable form of somamancy. As Plato noted:

*“All knowledge is remembering.”*

Anyway last time I looked on the internet I found it utterly homogenised.
All the major servers have algorithms designed to prohibit debate and push
mainstream narrative. A couple of years ago, that knob Bono made the
statement ‘we should have a Chinese type of internet’ or something to that
effect! In the coming world order non-conformists will be eliminated unless
a neo-Bolshevik solution is found in systematic disengagement of the top
200 corporations and a brutal transnationalisation to counter the obscene
disparity of wealth.

As for geopolitics, the US election result will create even more division
as it is designed to do. The US will be broken into several separate
entities eventually (after civil war and economic collapse). These are:

   - *The California Republic* which by nature of its demographics will
   come under Chinese influence.
   - *Central North American Union* will come under Canadian influence.
   - *Texas* will come under Mexican influence.
   - It is uncertain to whom the *Atlantic Union* will align itself to.


Nevertheless, that the US will be divided along ethnic lines is without
question. This election marks the beginning of the planned break up of the
United States of America.

This cigar is tasting beautiful. I am surrounded by spirits. There is a
Russian Blue cat purring on my knees.
