The upcoming book includes interviews with the original and at the same time current line up:

Also interviewed are contemporaries such as Jah Wobble, former member of Public Image Limited, along with the band’s long time graphic artist Michael Coles.

Drawing from interviews conducted between 2012 and 2019 in various locations and situations does the book not only tell the story of the post-punk pioneers, but also their side projects and Martin “Youth” Glover’s journey as the hit producer behind the Verve’s “Bitter Sweet Symphony” to working with Axl Rose and Guns n’ Roses on the epic that became “Chinese Democracy”.

Jyrki “Spider” Hämäläinen is a long-time contributing writer for UK’s number 1 music magazine Vive Le Rock and a former full-time editor one of Finland’s biggest magazines Seiska. He is one of the Gatherers, Killing Joke’s loyal supporters, and has covered the band extensively over the past decades. He graduated with a 2:1 in BA(Hons) Media and Popular Culture from Leeds Metropolitan University and studied MA Cultural and Critical Studies at Birkbeck University of London.
