Hi to all Gatherers

Long time lurker here. I was wondering if anyone who bought their tickets through the seetickets site for the Kj gig at the Barrowlands on 2/11/2018 has received them yet? I ordered mine in May & the see ticket site is saying they are awaiting delivery of these tickets. Has anyone who ordered tickets from this site for any dates on the UK to got them yet. I admit im starting to worry.

Wow, great show tonight.? The Regent is an old sorta-renovated movie theater just a few blocks from Skid Row in downtown LA.? Waiting in line to get in, people got accosted by a few pushy panhandlers but no big deal.? As the place was a theater, the concrete floor is steeply slanted towards the front so it?s easy to see but after a few hours, your legs are killing ya (I can?t even imagine what fun it is for the ladies wearing high heels).? PIG opened the show (about 9pm) and was a mildly entertaining NIN/Ramstein-eque trio but ultimately I can?t say I have any need to seek out whatever they?ve released. Killing Joke?s crew set their band?s gear up in record time? they were ready to play 15 minutes after PIG was done.

 ?

Killing Joke came on to the usual intro tape featuring music from Eyes Wide Shut.? Set I believe is the same as San Francisco yesterday.? Love Like Blood is a surprisingly effective opener, much more than S.O.36 which has been moved to open the encore.? The interesting thing about the set this tour is certain pairings of songs really jack up the energy level and crowd feedback.? Notably Autonomous Zone and Eighties, Requiem and Butcher, Follow The Leader and Loose Cannon (big highlight) and TDARS(excellent version, btw) and Wardance.? The entire band think the audience participation for Asteroid is the funniest thing on stage.? I heard negative shit about the sound system, but for the most part it delivered the good and was nice an bassy when needed.? I was really looking forward to seeing the legendary hundreds of XXX photos of naked chicks in a huge collages on the mens and womens bathrooms but I geuss even a sleezy shithole concert theater has to bend to SJW pressure.? It?s all go

 ne now.

 ?

Band all appeared in excellent spirits and top form. ?Big Paul worked his ass off on what is a pretty demanding set.? Youth was his typical bouncy, happy self, even got a joke in on Geordie (?introducing Jaz Coleman? pointing at the Big G which made him laugh).? Didn?t know Reza isn?t on the tour this time around, someone who looks like Nikki Sixx is on keys.? Jaz? voice was really strong 95% of the show.

 ?

Of all the Killing Joke LA shows I?ve seen since 2003, this was probably the most intimate and most in to it, appreciative crowd. Early in the set, decent mosh pit started up and kept going through much of the show. Lotta hardcore fans fulla energy up front and center.

My only complaint was the shitty bars.? What fucking bar doesn?t have JD, Bacardi or even Kahlua?!? Thus, no Jack and Coke, no Bicardi and Coke and no fuckin? Black Russian!? I?m afraid if I asked for a Long Island Iced Tea, the chick woulda scooped something out of the toilet and presented it to me in a tall glass with an umbrella sticking out of a turd. Thus, reluctantly responsible, I crafted my buzz with iced water.

What is interesting about the interview with Jaz is that he said he is enjoying going to America for the Tour, which given his previous hostility to America in interviews is a surprise. Anything to do with the Trump presidency and the defeat of the Clintons??

"And now they?re implementing a global policy of ?soft kill?. President Carter started the Global 2000 report on world population, which was finished by President Clinton, and they said that essentially four to five billion people on the planet have to go. Once you start taking the nutrients out of food, you get a sick population, and when you start spraying aluminium in the air and put fluoride in the water the human immune system goes on shutdown from aluminium-fluoride poisoning. They?re trying to kill us off: it?s slow, but sure.? - Jaz

Jaz Coleman is not your average common-or-garden rock singer. Cool, thanks.

I wonder is Youth doing a diary of this tour, like he did with previous tours, or does FB and Instagram take that place now?

**?I?ve been forbidden to go into politics by my youngest daughter, and she?s right about that. **Jeremy Corbyn seems like an okay guy, but they all start out with high ideals, don?t they? Until they get into the machine of the establishment? You think British Aerospace would let someone like him get into power, someone who wants to get rid of Trident? It wouldn?t be very good for business, would it? And people here think they live in a democracy? I just hope I live long enough to see Tony Blair tried for war crimes. He knew there was no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, as those recent email links have clarified. Those war crimes rather put David Cameron getting a blowjob off a pig in the shade.?

I too initially liked some of Jezza's ideas and his stand for the common man the many not the few but it does seem to be one thing after another with JC these days. He was always opposed to the Common Market/EEC/European Project during the 1970's/1980's but appeared to be warming to a Remain in the European Union position before the Referendum, but since the vote for Brexit says he wouldn't want Britain to stay in the European Single Market while many Labour members want a Second Referendum with the option to stay in the EU. To be honest as well I was surprised given KJ's enthusiasm for the European Project that Jaz said in an interview a while back that EU membership wasn't suitable for Britain while supporting  EU membership for European countries on the Continent...perhaps he can see what lies ahead? It remains to be seen whether we leave the EU next year.

I think he should go because he lied about the wreath-laying and

generally behaved like a totally tedious politician, which he's meant

to be an antidote to (to some extent - I know he is a career

politician but he presents himself as something of an outsider with

strict morals and principles) and because he has successfully called

on others to resign for this (admittedly to parliament, which is

worse). I also think he should go because he hasn't opposed Brexit

forcefully enough (because he supports it, obviously - it's just his

party that doeasn't) and we desperately need an effective opposition

when it comes to this heartbreaking disaster unfolding before our

eyes.

Shame, as he was a breath of fresh air at first and has many good

qualities, and I also don't think he actually is antisemitic - he's

just handled the whole thing terribly.
