I saw an old mate recently from Leeds (he started his roadie career with
the Sister of Mercy/Mission,
now he works with Massive Attack/Bjork/Depeche Mode), he knows all the
Leeds characters and I
asked him about Mick Brown, former Mish drummer and the G7 drummer. He
apparently is a hermit
now, long-time drug/health problems, suffers from agoraphobia so never goes
out. Sad. I remember
Mick back in the day talking about G7 rehearsals saying how good it was
sounding. So there could well be a
recording of it hidden away in a house in Leeds somewhere...
Apart from Jaz and Mick, who else was involved?

Yes. I heard Mick was fucked from acid.
He was invited back to the Mission but couldn't manage it
Shame. Great drummer.

Yeah it was G7 - (I think it became the G8 when Russia joined??)
That guy out of the Mission was on drums and he was at the lecture on
the Monday-looking a bit worse for wear if I remember rightly..
