i do not want to lose any respect i MAY have from my peers here,

but,

is this not the result of the last decade or two of america over-reaching
into the world and neglecting their own back yard?
is this obama's legacy? regardless of his smarmy charm, THIS is the fruit
of his actions (not his alone, granted).

all we can do, wherever we live, is to be GOOD and NICE. it's all we're
ever needed to do, and we need it now more than ever.
