Re the Brexit vote : it will sure be interesting to hear the
views of the band on it and I'm sure it won't be
long before that happens.  There are a lot of
issue's to be considered for sure.

It's well known that Geordie is a big  believer of
a united Europe and I got a copy of that Rifkin book but I
ain't got round to reading it yet so can't comment
-it's also interesting to note that Jaz has stated he
believes in a one world government but not
of the type that has been being pushed ie a hegemony of
global elitists.  This is one reason that many people
wanted out of the EU as they feel it is one step closer to a
global hegemonic dictatorship - not purely because they are
 backward thinking xenophobic
little islanders -there are millions all over Europe who
don't support the EU as it is.  Personally I feel
that if the current EU breaks up it could actually bring
Europe closer together in the long term -we have the
civility and technology to work with each
other and make our own deals without a centralised cash cow
behemoth.  I  feel at the moment we are seeing the
'Princess Diana Days ' reaction to the vote with the
associated knicker wetting,  hysteria,  panic and
knee jerk reactions. Also I noted a few months
ago there was a video of Jaz who was quite emotionally
talking about how the Czech Republic should take more
refugees and it appeared to have been filmed when he had
just returned to Prague,  then there was another one a
couple of months later where he was
sounding much more conciliatory and recognised the issue of
population replacement being used as a weapon against
nations which had obviously been recorded after he had been
speaking to people and considering alternative viewpoints.

He does state clearly in his book that he believes it is
possible to hold 2 completely contradictory viewpoints at
the same time -which I kind of understand.

It's going to be interesting for sure.

One thing I will say is that I'd never dream that all
Killing Joke fans were all blindly in support of something
 -Absolute Dissent.

Yup. Cameron has been a disgrace. You don't want to lose
 your house, you

don't throw your door key into the pot. All for the sake
 of his career

and another 4 years at the top. "I love this
country" he said as he leapt

 from the ship.

and blatant lies from the Leave campaign are equally
 disgusting. I know

several people who voted leave, purely based on the NHS
 ?350m pledge that

turned out to be a 'mistake' the very day the result
 was declared.

Deliberately misleading the electorate should be punishable
 by law and

surely nullifies a proportion of the vote..

I  think the result was a surprise to all sides, and if
 it was held again

tomorrow, I think it'd probably be a very different
 outcome.

 Anyway, onwards....

I have to agree. It was a clumsy ploy for votes that he
obviously regretted about five minutes later. And now
 we're screwed.

i can't believe this has happened and the division it is
causing in the local community. The general rule of thumb in
Wales where I currently live is that uneducated people voted
to leave(so that's most of Wales) and older people who
 have probably enjoyed a
fine living because of consequences of the British Empire
voted out .My wife has actually taken phone-calls from
people saying isn't it great to which she has promptly
replied why don't you drape your house in Union Jacks.
There is a prime example where Aston
Martin decided to build their rather silly new off road
sports-car in a very rural part of SE Wales but are now
looking towards Spain, so its black and white. I thought
David Cameron was a good Prime Minister but unfortunately he
put his cock on the block
to prove a point which of course he grossly
miscalculated.Mind you the pig stories probably didn't
 do him any favours!
