Adrian- they released the Levitation `Meanwhile Gardens` LP on a 500 only double vinyl-
remastered- finally-22 years after it was recorded with Terrys vocals restored- also a 12" of
`Never Odd Or Even.` 500 only again I think. One of the best live bands I ever saw..

That is utterly taking the piss man. I`m sorry to hear that.
I`d like to see that one discussed on Judge Judy-it would be intereting.
So if Clodplay pull out of playing Wembley Stadium I can say as the pomoter-` dont worry guys-its
still going ahead- and I`m sure the advetised support acts Rebel MC and the reformed Kingmaker
are going to put on a fantastic show for everyone.. `

This has nothing to do with KJ, of course:

The Soft Moon (a decent band) is trying to salvage their part of the US tour by playing some of the dates already scheduled as openers for KJ.

In at least one instance (St. Paul), the promoter has not cancelled the existing show and is now promoting it as a Soft Moon gig.

No cancellation = no refund.

I would probably go see Soft Moon regardless, but not for $25 and now I have an extra three tickets I cannot use.

I am working through this with the ticketing company (Ticketfly) and will let others know the result in case this happens elsewhere.

I can see why the support band might want to do an honourable thing and try and put on a show for the fans, but for the promoters it's just another way to screw the fans.

This was apparently isolated to the St Paul promoter and has since been resolved. I was able to contact Ticketfly directly and request/receive a full refund, although it's been two days and still hasn't posted to my CC.

Soft Moon is definitely a band worth checking out, now that you've got a free night and ticket prices are only about $15.

Their fans are idiots, however, with all this "Killing who?" and "Soft Moon should have been the headliner in the first place" nonsense, but the band him/themselves have been supportive and gracious.

Soft Moon fans are invited to check back in 30 years to see how their band is doing...

Unless its the dvd release for "TD&RS." The augurs noted the flight patterns of sparrows and prophesied that it would finally see a release in 2016.
