Brian there is a Travelodge on Upper Dean Street which is just 2 mins walk from the venue.  It’s a Travelodge so cheap and cheerful.  Some good bars nearby as well. They call it the Birmingham Central Bull Ring Hotel and it is located south of the Bull Ring so 10 mins walk from New Street Station

Anybody recommend good place to stay for the Birmingham gig?

Also notice that it's a 10pm curfew at The Institute.
