this is pretty darn stunning. For me, it’s quite possibly their best - and certainly their most cohesive, since Pandemonium, possibly even Night Time/BTATS.


continuing with the subtle (and not so subtle) little nods to songs gone by make everything feel familiar and fluffy.
eg: Autonomous Zone (the track that does least for me) - Communion/Pandys and that bass twang - a bit raven? a bit Termite Mound? a bit nervous system?
New Cold War - the chorus lyric form Tabazan, Euphoria middle 8 alludes to Frenzy  etc etc, 


So great to hear Jaz singing throughout - adds more atmosphere, coupled with the subtle BTATS/Night Time-esque keyboards, it’s the killing Joke I fell in love with. I’m 15 again. It’s wonderful. I’m starting to develop soft, downy hair on my chest.


If Dawn of the Hive doesn’t end up in a video game i’ll eat someones hat. Probably Robs as his head always seems clean.
