[kj] 30 years of NIGHT TIME

I suppose for me, it was just another example of one of my favourite
bands kinda losing it in the mid-80's! The Damned, The Stranglers,
Killing Joke, and lesser faves like the Banshees (already losing it for
me), Psychedelic Furs, Splodgenessabounds (joke!)... all started to get
pretty dodgy (with occasional greatness still, but on the whole...). I
most definitely wasn't watching that Killing Joke gig thinking "they've
still got the power, they're just choosing not to use it all".
Interesting point, though for me, it might apply more to Night Time.
With BTATS and the gig, it was just, well "weak" is always the word that
springs to mind. I should give the album another try, though I do
recall being persuaded by this list to give OTG another try a few years
back, and that didn't end well.
