The Daily Mail alleges that India's new Prime Minister, Narenda Modi, leader of the Hindu nationalist BJP "has the blood of 1,000 Muslims on his hands", due to Hindu riots in 2002, in revenge for an arson attack on a train in which Hindu pilgrims died.
However, the liberal Guardian says that he was "cleared of any wrongdoing", and says that under his regional administration in Gujarat, Muslims standard of living has increased.
Let's hope there is no war between India and Pakistan.
