[kj] "Ghosts of LG" influence track:

Lazer Attack was the one I was looking for, but thanks for the other tracks as well, especially Horace Andy.

There was apparently a lot of "borrowing" and re-purposing of rhythm tracks in reggae back in the day. Kind of like all those Disney animated features from the 60 - 70's with exactly the same sequences because nobody imagined being able to compare them side-by-side.

The Scientist track was on Scientist Meets The Space Invaders, which as I recall, John Peel used to play a lot.

I've got another tune with the same riddim but can't remember what it's called - I'll dig it out

Someone a while back posted an old dub track by Scientist, I think, with a rhythm line that obviously influenced Youth in the creation of "Ghosts of Ladbroke Grove."

Can someone please identify or re-post that track?
