Again, because I actually loved the band, I would have to say Senseless Prayer. Their singer/guitarist Fyfe Hutchins (aka Dangerfield) went on to some level of commercial success & industry awards with his next combo "Guillemots" but back in July 1999, I went to the Bull & Gate to see Jim's Super Stereo World (Jim Bob, ex Carter USM) & after chaotic openers Lolita Storm, Senseless Prayer came on & I was mesmerized. Fyfe was shaven headed & was like a young Thom Yorke.
Songs were awesomely full of angst.

Thankfully soon after they did a Peel session so I have 4 songs on a C90. They have the odd song on limited 7" singles & there is an impossible to find Lifelong EP with another 7 tracks - one day surely CD compilation will come out & I will be a very happy chappie.
