Apologies for not knowing the most basic trivia, but what was Geordie using before the Gibson ES-295? Wasn't Billy Duffy one of the guys who popularised the ES-295 as well, using one on Love and Electric, before trading it in for the Les Paul for Sonic Temple? Any other famous proponents of the ES-295?
Follow-up question: Geordie first started using standard tuning dropped a whole step (ie, DGCFAD) on Revelations, didn't he? After he discovered that the debut and WTF! had been recorded a half-step down?
Jim.
