All Play Rebel / Tabazan gets a mention every so often. Can't hear it, myself. Can anyone be more specific?

Wow.....that one never occurred to me, but I can totally hear it. Well done, Nick.

Another comparable instance: Bits of "All Play Rebel" (from Kid Jensen session and on the remastered NIGHTTIME) ended up as "Tabazan."

And not only that, they ripped themselves off with "Obsession", recycling the B Side "Ecstasy" from Adorations.

And of course killing joke ripped off killing joke for trance. The bass line is psyche. Lazy feckers!

Raven disclosed the "Me & Baby Brother" homage here way back when. I believe, the true provenance of the "Eighties" riff actually goes to the Equals and not the Damned's "Life Goes On" (though they're uncannily similar). When I spoke to Big Paul about it in 2004, he didn't seem at all familiar with the Damned track. Take that for whatever it's worth.

Also, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem loving lifted that same "Change" bass line for "Losing My Edge" back in ...wot...2001?

Not heard the War one before.
I also didn't know that KJ had acknowledged these songs (ahem) 'influence'
Makes the whole Nirvana thing more than a tad hypocritical.
Having said that, suing the 'biggest band in the world' was probably nothing more than a very, very shrewd publicity move on someones part.

Didn't we have this one out a few years ago? I believe KJ fully acknowledge their debt to "Me & Baby Brother", as well as to "Eighties" debt to the Damned's "Life Goes On" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaDbMZlN2Pg
