In the August 2012 issue of The Cure -alternative 80s magazine, there is 11 pages of Killing Joke and an interview with Jaz, and some good archive photos of the band. Jaz talks about the making of the Night Time album and the occasion a drunken Geordie caused £800,000 damage to Berlin's Hansa Tonstudios and "there was some really nasty violence...a broken arm, a nose split in half...Man it was fucking ugly".
How Jaz didn't want Love Like Blood on the LP because he thought they were selling out. The mysterious Blue Feather incident when Jaz during a magical meditation saw a vision of a bright blue feather, and then later when he left his house in Portobello Road, London and made his way back to Hammersmith he found a bright blue feather, and how Raven also found one.
How Killing Joke expressed their pan-European ideals and Jaz became vehemently anti-American. How Paul Ferguson and Jaz are into the writings of Yukio Mishima, such as The Samurai Ethic and Modern Japan.
A free CD with the mag includes tracks by the KJ influenced 1919.
