[kj] Porcupine Tree

Did I tell you the one about how I occasionally used to play music on my speakers at my last job, and I put ‘And the Swallows dance above the Sun’ on my work friendly mix by mistake. Never got around to changing the playlist, and every time I played this I had to race back to my desk to try to kill the volume before the closing quote played...(nice one Wilson) - they already thought I played ‘strange music’ (oddly enough there was some Ozric Testicles on it too), so this really helped…

Anyway it’s one of my fave Steven Wilson tracks (PT being SW only at that stage…) – I’d love to see him live…you’re lucky indeed.

On that topic, I saw Wilson play live in L.A. last month. He was incredible. Definitely worth catching, if he’s in your neck of the woods.

Best,

Karen

Not really that keen on Porcupine Tree's music, but I'm really enjoying the

Steven Wilson / Mikael Akerfeldt album Storm Corrosion at the moment
