The Ozrics were great in their day (the 1980s
mainly) – specially if you felt anything for the sounds of Here & Now
/ Gong etc etc (which I very much do / did) 
Not seen them since the early 1990s but
then they were verging towards muso guitar wank of the worst order in a Joe
Satriani type way – awful,  really grim…. 
In my opinion, of course…. 
  
Better than the Ozrics were the closely
related Ullulators, who released a few cassettes and one album back in the day –
more dub / world music than the Ozrics – if My Life In the Bush of Ghosts
floats your boat then you’ll love the Ullulators 
  
But best of all, by some way were the also
closely related Oroonies – somewhere between Austin Osman Spare, Psychic
TV, The Virgin Prunes and Gong yet still  
totally unique – again they released
a whole load of tapes, a 12” and an album back in the day – well worth
a listen if you can track them down.

Back before they were big, I attended a private
party they played in  Edinburgh 
in 1988.  They were really good!
