He was in a recent episode of Game of Thrones, too. 
Not sure he was actually "in" the Sex Pistols, but was in The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle, playing a part of someone auditioning for a place in the pistols, singing Who Killed Bambi? 
I remember seeing him live years ago on a Son of Stiff, tour.
