[kj] In Cythera Down By The River with MMXXII

Ahoy, all...

Trying to get my ducks in a row, here.

1. Got a note from Pledge Music saying that I didn't win the print  
from the 2005 Shepherd's Bush Empire show to go along with my Down By  
The River bundle, but that's okay, because, technically, I already  
have an autographed one that my pal and yours, Bob Barathy, is nicely  
holding onto me and popping in the post any day now. RIGHT, BOB? :)

2. Never got a confirmation e-mail --- let alone anything else --  
after ordering the "In Cythera" single, but the money WAS withdrawn  
from my account by What Records. Thanks for that.

3. Have resisted downloading the leak of MMXXII, being that I somewhat  
pompously insist on hearing it "properly" and obtaining it in similar  
fashion. Beginning to wonder how I'm going to accomplish that, being  
that most of the places that would stock same as an import are gone.  
There are a couple of places that *might* have it, but hopes are not  
high.... even here in NYC.

4. Did I hear something about how the AMERICAN version of the album  
will have something extra on it (prompting an exclamation of "Oh for  
fuck's sake!")

5. Trying to not read/listen to the less-than-satisfieds and remain  
objective about the album. This has been difficult.
