I download some stuff, but pay for it. But... I prefer the physical form
hands down. Still enjoy going to the record store to sift through stuff!
Being able to physically look at the liner sleeve is better than looking at
a digital thumbnail...

Downloading is morally wrong; every time you download an album illegally a
kitten dies etc.

I've already bought the album in multiple formats and it comes out next week
anyway. Anyone feeling ambitious can check Bunalti, Torrentzap, Bitsnoop
etc. and let us know what they find.

The sites appear to have the full album but I am unable to check myself.

Again, I do not condone theft; I condone hearing an album I have already
bought in multiple formats a week early.

Thanks for the heads up, can confirm have checked on
Rutracker.org...and just downloaded it from there, it has indeed
leaked as 320Kbps CBR MP3s.

I urge anyone thinking of fleecing it to buy it, although really I
expect no less from you fellow gatherers. Anyone that has been to the
gigs, listened to any of the tracks live on youtube, and the samples
on Amazon should already know it's the best album they have done in
aeons.

The only thing this means to me is I get to hear it a week early, I
don't have to rip the CD myself, and can look forward to it when it
finally is released next week totally uncompressed.

Fabulous. I have already purchased the album and single in two different
formats each.

Is anyone able to make this available to the list?

As far as buying stuff, bands typically make a lot more doing live shows
than selling cd's, esp these days, so make sure to
go to every show! I wish they'd play another US tour (but jaz said in one of
the interviews he won't go to the US again).

yeah, I had to go out to my car in the parking lot and listen at high
volume.

Now I love the whole thing.

Also, the first two seconds of "Glitch" sound exactly like "Born To Run."

First listen gut check:

Loving six of ten tracks; haven't connected yet with:

FEMA Camp
Rapture
Primobile
Trance

But that's probably because I'm listening in a relatively non-private area
at low volume.

I've burned a copy and will be cranking it in the car on my way home
tonight.

Best so far: Glitch, In Cythera, Corporate Elect, Colony Collapse.

Pole Shift reminds me of "Termite Mound" and All Hallow's Eve is a slow but
shouty closer.

I am content.

1. Poleshift2. Corporate Elect3. Fema Camp4. Glitch5. Primobile

6. Colony Collapse7. In cythera.8. Rapture9. All Hallows Eve10.In the fields
of light.

1-8 are alright - 9 and 10 are fucking awful.

Well after a couple of listens, I must say Im loving this. Even Fema Camp,
which I didnt get into live, is kicking it. Corporate Elect is the standout
track for me, but also Pole Shift, Primobile, Glitch, In Cythera, Trance,
fuck it there isnt a dud track on the album. Production is pretty good too,
although I havent had chance yet to hear it on big speakers. Beats the shit
out of the last 2 albums by a country mile. Best thing theyve done in years.

Did you download the media share file that Paul sent.?

You need winrar as the programme to open the file. It's similar to win zip.
Then the music files would be there.
You "unzip" the media share file to a specified destination.
