There's obviously strong connections between the Mish and the Cult, mainly through Craig Adams who played with both bands and the Sisters of Mercy. Jaz did actually provide string arrangements on the Mission's first awful album (Masque), although a decade ago Jaz claimed to know nothing about it. Unless I'm much mistaken, I think Youth also did single remixes for the Mission too.

Well, there's a strong connection with The Cult as Youth produced their last album in '07. It also gives KJ exposure to a
(hopefully) wider audience with minimal effort as they'll only have to play a 45 minute set. The Cult are putting out a new album
in May and from the bits and pieces heard, it sounds promising. If they did this lineup in the States, I'd definitely go see it.
