Working with Justin Broadrick on Jesu and other side projects, like, Blood
of Heroes, which is an amazing band.

Killing Joke - 'Frenzy' (live)

At the beginning of the show they said there would be 3 tracks by KJ, at
the end they said they were running short of time & would have to drop
tracks. Obviously the session was not a priority. I wonder what the other
track was?

I love(d) Prong up until and including RUDE AWAKENING, but Victor
seems have accrued an uncanny knack for scaring away everyone who
dares work with him. That said, "Beg To Differ," "Prove You Wrong,"
"For Deal Life," --- he really likes those three-word song titles, eh?
-- and classics like "Snap Your FIngers..." and their cover of "Get a
Grip on Yourself" will *ALWAYS* be favorites of mine.

In other words, ... too bad Tommy's such a dick.

Where IS Ted Parsons today?

...was the track that trailed D&RS so, if "Rapture" is this album's
"Implant" you can draw your own conclusions: pretty excited I am!

I think all the fun in "Asteroid" is in the opening and the breaks when
everyone yells the title.
Implant is supposed to be in 5/4 time, but that shouldn't be much trouble
for real musicians...

Kazoo..?? Which rare unreleased version do you have?
All I can hear is that delightfully abrasive Geordie riff.

They opened with The Hum at the Forum in 2008 and I thought it fell a bit
flat. Wanted them to
roar out of the traps but instead they sort of wandered out with their
slippers on.

They should open with a frigging new song if they have the balls!

Am I in a minority thinking Asteroid is frankly bollocks? Don't understand
the excitement this
song seems to generate.

To be honest I don't think Song and Dance is one of the strongest songs on
FD (which I think is definitely one of the
best Joke albums). That 2-note part in the middle that sounds like a kazoo
playing, when Jaz sings "spit hit the stick"--what the hell is that?
I vote for The Hum as the surprise opener!

...seem to be floating around all over the place. I've seen multiple
mentions today from reviewers and entertainment reports, such as :

By the way, the new album from Killing Joke is playing on the office stereo
as we prepare this here guide to the month in gigs ? and by Jaga?s beard
that shit is epic. It is MMXII, after all. You can have a sneak peek ahead
of its April release yourself when founding fathers Jaz Coleman, Geordie,
Youth and Big Paul bring the thunder to Glasgow ABC on 12 Mar. As important
to new wave and post punk as they were to industrial rock, there?s simply no
overstating the importance of this band. Joe Cardamone presents his
reassembled vision of the incendiary The Icarus Line on the side.

I would never encourage theft but we all know we're going to buy the new
album in multiple formats regardless. Somebody's got to have leaked this to
a torrent somewhere already...
