... but  45 tracks for probably less than a tenner ... bargain of the
century, albeit some 2 to 3 decades overdue !!!    The 2xCD release date is
suggested as 6th August 2012.

D.c.L BULLETIN UPDATE

Blimey, a flurry of activity in 2011, here at The DadaCravatLaboratories.
Firstly, after lord knows how many years, our first LP 'The Cravats In
Toytown' will be released on CD by Overground Records later in the year. It
will be a faithful reproduction of the original vinyl and art master, Rob is
currently working on that jolly sleeve and the insert. 

Many have asked when 'In Toytown' will be released on CD over the years and
2011 seemed as good a time as any. Not only will the package contain the
original LP in all it's quirky, Lo-Fi glory (it was recorded on an 8 track
in Torguay back in 1980), but as a special treat you will also get a bonus
CD of the same LP remixed from the original masters (I found them in the
attic!) by the one and only Penny Rimbaud of Crass fame!

We are jolly thrilled that Mr Music has agreed to spend their valuable time
moulding our efforts from the past into a completely new sonic epic and we
can't wait to hear the results.

The purists of you will already be groaning with perplexation but the main
CD WILL be exactly the same as the beloved vinyl of yesteryear so if you
don't approve of the bonus disc just shove it down the back of the sofa and
pretend it doesn't exist but we're sure it'll be a thrilling addition to our
Cravatolian catalogue!

On the gig front The Cravats live ensemble featuring

The Shend - Vocals, Svor Naan - Sax, Malc - Drums, Jem - Bass and Rex
Speedway guitar, are out and about even more this year than last.

The Cravats will be appearing at The Twisted Pepper - 54 Middle Abbey
Street, Dublin - April 9th 2011 (With Paranoid Visions)

Shepherds Bush Empire, London - November 19th 2011 (Special guests of Steve
Ignorant)

Blackpool Rebellion Punk Festival August 5th 2011

We will be returning to The Buffalo Bar in Camden, London probably in late
June or July (date to be confirmed)

Other gigs will be added as and when we get them so pop back here every now
and then to find out details or join The Cravats Facebook group.
