It is just possible he wasn't influenced by Killing Joke...

Reality "has it in" for Killing Joke.?
A couple of weeks ago I saw an interview on public television with Tom
Morello of Rage Against The Machine where he mentioned a string of
influences. Killing Joke was of course left out

This three-part documentary seems to be following a timeline. Last week was
pre-punk, tonight is punk proper, suggesting next week will be post-punk.
What are the chances of any KJ footage or even an interview next week? They
have interviewed punk stalwarts like Lydon for this series, and also Henry
Rollins ( who crops up quite a lot on TV these days) and even Jim Kerr of
Simple Minds, though he was titled under his old Glasgow punk band's name
(Spunk & the Bubbles...?).

If they show a 'Post-Punk at the BBC' after the documentary, would there be
any Killing Joke BBC performances in the archive to show? And on that
matter, I wonder why KJ have never been on Jools Holland.

One vote only, no 'close seconds' or any of that shenanigans.

Mine is Ghosts of Ladbroke Grove, played rather loud.

Might not be popular choice, but fuck it, I would go for European Super
State J

It was just so different and fresh, but also fit in to what was/is happening
politically in Europe and I guess the world in general.

Choice may change in time, as MMXII still growing on me by the day.

In Cythera. No contest, easily among the top 5 singles they've ever
released.

this would have been very easy a few years ago
democracy
aeon???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
(honourable mention-?mass-on single)
2003 d&r show-(close second blood on yer hands & implant)
basements-judas
goat??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
(honourable mention universe b -on single)
?
in cythera is brilliant
?
from AD* the stand out on reflection for me is fresh fever??????? (with here
comes the singularity honourable mention)
?
2012 is easily the best album since extremities so picking a best one is a
toughie but the track that?encompasses 'the fire and the rose' or the
slightly more synth based joke(btats) with the harder edge(extremities) with
the token bit of future science-POLESHIFT-easy in the end apologies for
thinking as I type
?

*the track absolute dissent could have run it a close second but it lost
everything from rehearsals to album (from the clips I've heard)
