Are there any bootlegs or anything floating around?

sorry to go on and on
that astoria gig Jan 1991 was like nothing else i've ever been to
it had to be seen and heard to be believed
it was like a combination of many things coming together at once to create an explosion of music emotion and other things

anyone who can't find the reviews of that and the Leeds gig? on line please contact me off list and i'll scan them if I can find them!!!

I'd wager 91 was better than 88!

I agree that the Joke in 91 were fantastic live... but better than earlier incarnations??

>I said it before and I'll say it again: BPF is the missing piece and the video of Jason Bowld just confims it. Bowld's a dependable timekeeper, i'm sure, but also a basher with little finesse. I've seen KJ with 5 different drummers now and the closest anyone's come to BPF is Ben Calvert and even he was wide of the mark. My GF accompanied me to the Chicago shows in 2010 and she couldn't give a rip about KJ but she left impressed, commenting "the drummer was incredible."
