Not sure about your arithmetic, but aside from that, I couldn't agree more - that Astoria gig was an absolute humdinger.

It felt like the planets had aligned for Killing Joke.

someone else actually likes loud other than paul rangecroft!
they were't that bad.....
i agree that the cocteau twins would be a wonderful support band for killing
oke.
what would be the perfect gig would be godflesh opening with the cocteau twins
eading into a joke extremities set,
it is actually 19 years and 2 weeks last night since the best gig ever-astoria
1, not that i ever think about it....
if that gig was released as a dvd i think it would show the world the best live
and ever at their peak.
i know the france gig was released as part of the extremities extra thing in
007 but the tour had totally lost momentum by then.

t was almost like seeing 2 different bands at the astoria in jan and brixton in
une.
finsbury park had a buzz though
