One of the bands had a 6' black female lead singer with a blonde mohawk... excuse me, "mohican."

I remember going to the Bristol gig and enjoying one of the support bands. Unfortunately I can't remember which one :-(

And I thought Stabbing Westward in the states were painful.
 
I believe there are some Skunk defenders on this list but i thought they were just an image in search of songs. Shootyz Groove were purveyors of interminable sub-Chili Peppers white boy funk that gave me frequent dry heaves.
