They could open with Wet Wet Wet and play Nana Mouskouri covers all night and it’d still be a step forward for me cos the cnuts have never deigned to play New Zealand.

Oh and while I’m in mid-whinge, I want my fucking national anthem back, I want my ticket to Survivor: Killing Joke Island, and I want to know everything Jaz knows about the Elder Gods.
 
I reckon Ladbroke would rule ass as an opener, with Youth & Big Paul turned up to 11, it oozes laid-back cool, remind the young’uns in the crowd who’s the Guvnors, then launch straight into ASTEROID or Dominator, force the old farts in the crowd to get their backs into it…
 
But seriously, they could do a whole Yazoo album or ‘Coulthard Talks – Extended Version’ and I’d show up (off my tits)

I agree that Hum would be a cool opener--and in line w/the trance-like ones they seem to prefer (like Communion).
And I remember being blown away when first hearing Revelations--by the intensity, strangeness, yet catchiness of some of the songs.
