A new music startup called "Switchcam" is algorithmically recreating
concerts by stitching together fan footage. The footage is all synced up to
the exact second so that you can switch camera angles and still be in the
same moment in the concert.

It's in beta at the moment, so when you switch camera angles you get the new
sound feed as well, ideally it'd allow you to choose which sound feed to use
as well as video feed. E.g. some ppl might like to hear the fan noise from
the area of recording, most people would probably like to have the best
sound feed.

Surprisingly, some of the fan footage is decent quality, certainly good
enough that you'd want a copy to remember a gig you went to at least.
Personally I haven't figured out to use zoom on my phone, and I'm not going
to be wasting my time recording at a gig. That's what other ppl are for. Oh
on that note, I saw some Comic-Store-Guy lookalike READING A STAR WARS BOOK
seconds before Soundgarden were due to start the other day. One of those
surreal gig moments - at the same time right behind me this girl was tearing
up at the prospect of seeing SG for the first time in 15 years.

Here's an example (can't find any Killing Joke gigs yet):
