Karl
What you say is so true as far as the band leaving a short message.
I see so many bands posting please do not purchase from this or that until we have confirmed etc.
It really wouldn't take much even for the management to say something.

Hi Paul/John

Unfortunately we dont have one in the Foggy Dew but I was there before the Button Factory gig and they were cranking out Killing Joke for ages from behind the bar so its a possible venue. I understand its not the bands fault this time. I dont fully understand how these things work. How can Ticketmaster sell these things without confirmation? Today FM here in Dublin have even been running ticket giveaways. Its farcical. I think the band could do a hell of a lot better on the communication front though. A simple message posted on the webpage saying dont buy tickets for any dates until they are officially listed or a specific reference to a gig thats being listed on ticketmaster that the band know isnt going ahead(ie Dublin). It would take minutes to do. I bought the Electric Picnic for euro 240. Its a lot of money. I know gigs get cancelled. Thats a fact of life. In these more straitened times it will probably be an even more regular occurrence. Communication is the main problem. Im a sucker for punishment though!!! Anyone got recommendations for the Uk tour? Venue/city? I look forward to having a few pints with whoever is still coming over though.

Karl
