During the famous "Laughing Torso Black Magic" libel trial in London in 1934, occultist Aleister Crowley was asked by the prosecution what was the meaning of his title the "Great Beast 666". Crowley replied that it signified the Sun, "so you may call me Little Sunshine", which raised a chuckle from the public gallery.
In recent interviews articles quoted Jaz explaining that his disappearance to Iceland in '82 due to the impending Apocalypse, was in reality a story to cover his magical practice of seeking knowledge and conversation with his 'Holy Guardian Angel'.
